Hey, I'm Lydia!

I blend psychology, consumer behaviour, and UX to create products that are enjoyable and accessible to everyone. When I’m not improving digital experiences, I’m probably geeking out over game mechanics or user behaviour patterns.

UX Case Studies

UX Case Studies

I studied psychology and specialized in consumer cognition and behavior. After earning my master’s degree, I developed expertise in biosensor-based research, working with eye-tracking, EEG, GSR, and facial recognition technology.

My UX research journey began in the health and wellness sector during the COVID pandemic. Later, I transitioned into the video game industry, where I refined my skills in player experience research.

With experience leading and contributing to over 50 playtests—including First Time User Experience (FTUE), multiplayer, and concept testing—I’ve worked across all stages of game development, from early prototypes and alphas to post-launch evaluations. Using a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods, I analyze player behavior across PC, mobile, console, and VR to create more engaging and accessible gaming experiences.

Articles & Events

I am actively helping various game studios (indies and AAA) and publishers enhance and improve the overall experience of their video games. In addition to my work with these studios, I also contribute to my team by writing insightful articles. Furthermore, I attend various industry events to share valuable knowledge regarding essential topics such as UX Research and the psychology applied to video games, including aspects like cognition, behaviour, and emotions.
